Prior to residing at the Pavilion on Main in Sandwich, Cheryl was a long time resident of Montgomery, Il. Cheryl had numerous friends in and around the Montgomery area. 

Proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Joseph R Higgins on 6/26/2020.

Cheryl is survived by her two sons, Duane Higgins (Serena Higgins) of Oswego, Il and Joel Higgins (Corrinne Higgins)of Yorkville, IL; Brother, Rick Morel (Sherry) of Arkansas; Sister, Lorie Morel Bennet (Dave Bennet) of Marseilles; Sister-in-law, Mary Libby Morel of Sandwich, IL; As well as 11 grandkids and 6 step grandkids.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
