Charlene B. Rydell

Charlene B. Rydell, 89, of Plano, IL passed away on November 24, 2024. Charlene was born on January 6, 1935 in Harvard, IL to Edward and Violet (Koch) Marcks. Charlene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plano, IL, where she played piano for the church. She enjoyed shopping and loved to bake. She also exercised every week at Fox Valley Older Adults every week up until the last couple weeks.

Charlene is survived by 3 children, Linette (Bill) Cooper of Plano, IL, Corrine Rydell of Elburn, IL and Ross (Sandy) Rydell of Batavia, IL; 3 grandchildren, Dean (Jennifer) Gottschalk, Madison Rydell and Aidan Rydell; As well as 3 great grandchildren, Acacia, Montgomery and Hamilton.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s choice of either Fox Valley Older Adults in Sandwich, IL or the First Baptist Church in Plano, IL.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A procession will follow out to Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL for a graveside service immediately following the celebration of life.
