Carl (Butch) D Gilkerson

Carl (Butch) D. Gilkerson, 77, of Earlville, IL passed away on March 25, 2023. Carl was born on March 13, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Thomas and Mildred (Hawkins) Gilkerson. Carl worked on the farm when he was a young man. Carl enlisted and served in the Navy. After he was done, he went on to drive truck for over 50 years. Carl enjoyed being with family, especially during the holidays.

Carl is survived by his children, Carl (Joanna) Gilkerson, Craig (Kelly) Gilkerson, Chrissy (Dale) Kaiser and Curtis (Debra) Gilkerson; Grandchildren, Kayla, Kayleen, Jason, Brandi, Kiara “Kiki”, Charles, Tamron, Allison, Rick, Tyler, Collin, Blaze, Miles, Brody, Jeffery John, Jackson and Adeline; As well as many great grandchildren; And a special nephew, Steve “Pete” Gilkerson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Sisters, Gloria, Joyce and Clara; And brothers, Jim, Tom, Harry, Gary, Jackie and John.
