Brandon J. Hughes

Brandon J. Hughes, 44, of Millington, IL passed away unexpectedly at home on March 21, 2024. Brandon was born on July 6, 1979 in Aurora, IL to Casey and Gail (Ostrander) Hughes.

Brandon grew up in Yorkville and Millington and attended Yorkville High School and Sandwich High School. He worked construction, framing buildings. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his brother and his friends. He also enjoyed fishing and cooking and loved animals.

Brandon is survived by his parents, John (Casey) Debbie Hughes of Newark, IL and Gail (Richard) Anderson of Millington, IL; Siblings, Bryan Hughes of Millington, IL, Ryan (Sarah) Hughes of Newark, IL, Chad (Megan) Anderson of Millington, IL and Megan (Chris Smith) Hughes of Bristol, IL; Nieces and nephews, Trevor, Michael, Lainey, Callie, Sienna, Garrett and Gavin; 1 great niece, Lilianna; As well as several friends and his family of friends from Jimbos and family pet Ellie.

There will be a graveside service at Millington-Newark Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at Jimbos at a later date.
