Bradley Allen Cook

The family of Bradley Allen Cook (49) is deeply saddened to announce his passing on December 27th, 2023, in Peoria, Illinois.

Bradley was born on October 6, 1974, in Peoria, Illinois to Leslie Lee Cook and Laurie Jo Hannon.

Bradley is survived by his loving Mother; one daughter, Lauren Burger and one son, Xander Lacy; 4 sisters, Lesley (Greg) Howard, Dawn (Eric) Verci, Wendy Armstrong and Jessica Collie; two brothers, Joseph Lohman and Stanley (Michelle) Gambill. He also leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews.

Bradley was proceeded in death by his father; one infant son, Darrien Cook; one baby sister, Carrie Cook and one niece.

Bradley was a true artist, amazing us all with his drawings and tattoo work. Bradley enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings win, listening to all types of music, drinking extremely strong coffee and also had a deep connection to animals.

Our family is proud to say that Bradley will be donating his body to science and the advancement of medicine. We are comforted in knowing that this will be his final charitable gift to others through Lamplight Donor Services, located in West Chicago, IL.

Memorials in Bradley’s honor may be donated to J.O.L.T. Harm Reduction, 2203 N. Sheridan Rd, Peoria, Illinois 61604. It is an amazing organization that helps those struggling with addiction and homelessness.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at The Encounter, 800 Springfield Rd, East Peoria, Illinois 61611.
