Austin James Smith

Austin J. Smith, 32, of Naperville, IL passed away on April 4, 2026. Austin was born on January 19, 1994 in Bloomington, IL to Edward and Joan (Gaza) Smith.

Austin enjoyed spending a lot of time with his daughter, she was the light of his life. Family was always the most important thing to him.

His other hobbies were listening to music and gaming. He was also a big Chicago sports fan and enjoyed watching the Bears, Bulls and Sox.

Austin is survived by his parents, Edward and Joan of Naperville, IL; Daughter, Naomi; 2 sisters, Savannah and Siarrah; A brother, Dalton; As well as cousins, J.R. and Keaton DeVaul.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Joan Gaza, and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Margie Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548.
