Ashton P. Laatz

It is with our deepest sorrow, we announce that Ashton Phillip Laatz passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2022. He was 18.  

 

Ashton Was born on April 19, 2004 in Aurora Illinois.  He recently graduated high school in Oswego.  Ashton was known as a gentle giant with a big heart who genuinely cared about people. He loved going fishing with his father and friends, he played rugby with the Chiefs Rugby Club from the age of 10 and was fortunate enough to travel to England and Scotland with his team.  Ashton lived life to the fullest, recently asked God for forgiveness and accepted him as his Lord and Savior, and was making plans for the future.  

 

Ashton is survived by his father Aaron Laatz of Naperville, his mother Pamela (Lane) Laatz of Montgomery and his sister Kelsey, his grandparents Sharon Lane, Ronald and Eva Laatz, his Aunt Sara McCaw, Uncle Phillip (Kathy)Lane, cousins Rylynn, Mason, and Kaden McCaw, along with many great friends.

 

We take comfort in knowing that Ashton is with his Papa Jack Lane and all of his loving family that proceeded him.

 

Visitation will be held on December 29, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street, Sandwich IL, 60548.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

 

We will forever LOVE and MISS you Ashton!  You were taken from us too soon...
