Arlene Marie Popp

Arlene Popp, nee Yeager, 90, of Rochelle, IL passed away on December 21, 2025. Arlene was born on the south side of Chicago to Francis and Loretta (Seamon) Yeager. Later she resided in Burbank, IL before relocating to Rochelle, IL in about 2000. She attended Gage Park High School in Chicago, but later graduated from Reavis HS in the late 1940s. She served as an executive secretary at Michael Reese Hospital, Chesterfield Federal Bank, and the Moose Lodges and Chapters Bloodbank based in Cicero, IL. She was a member of the Women of the Moose for most of her life and served as Senior Regent and in other volunteer positions at the Moose Southwest Chicago Chapter 44 and later Rochelle Chapter 903. Arlene is survived by her only daughter, Denise Reisinger; Sister, Carol Rasmussen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; Her husband, Alex Popp; Brother, Francis G. Yeager; Grandson, David Reisinger; As well as Son-in-Law, Frederick Reisinger;

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL 61068. A funeral mass will be held next day, Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 244 Kelley Dr. Rochelle, IL 61068. A committal service will then take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.
