Anna Elizabeth Nilsen Hallstrom

Anna Elizabeth Nilsen Hallstrom, 90 of Plano, IL. passed away at Rush Copley Hospital on May 15, 2018.She was born on April 22, 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland to Reverend Carl and Anna (Carlson) Nilsen. She grew up in a Methodist home which her Father was the Reverend of the Church. She met and married the love of her life Richard Hallstrom on August 16, 1952 in Somonauk, Il and was happily married until her passing.    She worked at CTS Knights, and Werner Auto parts  in Sandwich until she retired.  Her greatest love was her family and great grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and being out in the sun. She is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Linda (Jim) Swanson of Sheridan, IL. her grandchildren Julie (Daniel) Haggard of Sandwich, IL and Eric (Allison) Swanson of Normal, IL, her six great grandchildren; Andrew, Grace, Alex, Deacon, Sophia and James. She was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Carl and Anna her sister Nell (Alvin) Pierson. and her brother in law Thomas Hallstrom. Private Funeral service will be Saturday May 19, 2018 at Beverage Family Funeral home with Pastor David Kaul officiating,  burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
