Ann L. Brand

Ann Lea Brand, 79, of Triumph, IL passed away on May 7, 2024. Ann was born on July 15, 1944 in Aurora, IL to Vance and Bernice (Smith) Lintner. She attended West Aurora High School. She married Harold Brand Sr. in December of 1964. They divorced in 1970 but remained good friends. They had 2 children together and Ann welcomed 3 step-children into her life that she loved as her own.

Ann was a CNA and caregiver. She had a loving heart and her joy in life were her children and grandchildren, whom she was proud of and spoke of often. She enjoyed crossword puzzles , jigsaw puzzles and playing dominos with her children and grandchildren. She was always up for euchre and loved family game nights.

Ann is survived by her children, Leora (Jeffrey) Williams of Sterling, IL, Harold (Kurt Granrath) Brand Jr. of Malta, IL and Patricia (Sonny) Porter of Clearwater, FL; Grandchildren, Nicholas Brand of Malta, IL, Daniel (Tiffany) Henderson of Lamoille, IL, Lucas (Christina) Henderson of Earlville, IL, Alicia (Scott) Evans of Sterling, IL, Loudon Herbsleb of Sandwich, IL, Joseph Brand of Ottawa, IL, Vincent Brand of Lake Holiday and William Sexton of Wisconsin; A brother, Wayne Frieberle of Aurora, IL; As well as 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren with 1 more on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her life partner, Philip Crabtree; Father of her children, Harold Brand Sr.; Son, Robert “Bobby” Brand; Daughter, Dlorah “Lori” Brand Dreps; Sister, Delores “Dottie” Taylor; And a brother, David Taylor.
