Alan Lawrence Taylor

Alan Lawrence Taylor, 62, of Sandwich, IL passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2019. He was born on September 25, 1956 in Exeter, NH to Donald L. and Marjorie (Miller) Taylor.  He retired from Commonwealth Edison. Alan was a wonderful person and would give the shirt off his back. He had a great laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. He is going to be missed so much by all who loved him. 

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie L. Hoskinson of Sandwich, IL. The mother of his children, Linda (Summers) Taylor.  His children, Matthew (Katie) Taylor of Algonquin, IL and Joseph Taylor of Wheaton, IL.  Grandchildren (Matthew’s children) Allison and Meadow Taylor. Brother Stephen (Sally) Taylor of Lady Lake FL. Sister Susan (Taylor) Goray of Glendale Heights, IL. And many Aunt’s, Uncle’s, Cousin’s, Niece’s and Nephew’s. He was preceded in death by his father Donald L. Taylor, his stepfather James L. Hoskinson, grandparents George and Lena Miller, Albert and Dorothy Taylor. 

A private Celebration of Life will be held later. Burial will take place at Exeter Cemetery in Exeter, NH.
