Mary E. Chapman

Rochelle - Mary E. Chapman, 89, of Rochelle, formally from DeKalb and Esmond, passed away April 13, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family and care givers. Mary was born February 25, 1918 in Andalusa, Alabama, daughter of William Robert Wiggins and Mary Eudora Ward. She married John M. Chapman August 25, 1945 in Dothan, Alabama. She is survived by two sons, Philip (Sonia) Chapman of Niceville, FL. And Clark Chapman of Rockford, three grandchildren, Andy Chapman of Florida, Jackie Chapman of Florida and Shaun Chapman of DeKalb. Preceded in death by her husband, two bothers, one sister and one son William. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday April 19, 2007 at First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle with Rev. Dr. John Hamilton officiating. Interment Lawnridge Cemetery. A one hour visitation prior to services.
