Helen A. Meade 74, of Sandwich passed away December 17th 2006 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 23rd 1932 in Murfreesboro,TN. to the late Oakley and Elizabeth McCormick. She was retired from Western Electric in Montgomery. She was an avis Bingo player. She is survived by her children Glenda Keef of Antioch,IL.,Robert Keef of Aurora, Jerry ( Kris ) Keef of Montgomery and Janise ( Gene )Johnson of Sandwich. 3 Brothers Stephen ( Sharon ) McCormick of Orlando,FL., Dennis ( Elizabeth ) McCormick of Sharon,TN. and Ron ( Jackie ) Heinbeucher of Sycamore. 11 grandchildren; Steve Keef of Aurora, SSgt Azur Squillace ( Matthew ) U.S. Marine Corps of Pensacola,FL., 1C2 Eric Keef U.S. Navy of Groton,CT.,Kimberly Keef of Springfield,IL.,Bryan ( Niki ) Johnson of Aurora, Carly Jo ( Steve ) Whitmer of Aurora, Christa ( Scott ) Hinrichs of Hinckley, Robbie Johnson of Sandwich Derek Johnson of Sandwich, Dustin ( Tina ) Howell of Clarksville,TN,. and Tanya Dixon of Woodbine,GA. 19 great grandchildren which include her special baby girl Miss Haley Alexine Blackburn of Aurora, that she raised for 8 years. 2 infant great grandchildren that will be due in February 2007.Her favorite brother in-law Russell Hancock who continued to be there for her after her sister Mary's death. She is preceded in death by her husband Darmel ( Ed ) Meade 1986. Her parents and step father, 1 sister Mary Hancock and 2 brothers Don and Charles McCormick. Visitation will be Wednesday December 20th 2006 4-8:00 p.m. with a remembrance with friends at 8:00 p.m.
