Marvin E. Westby 79 of Sandwich passed away March 8th 2008 at Hillside Heath Care after a brief illness. He was born in S.Dakota. He served with the Merchant Marines. He served as a police officer in Plano and Somonauk. He served both towns as their Chief of Police and retired from Somonauk as their Chief. He was a member of the Plano Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. He was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge. His funeral service will be held Friday March 15th 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will Thursday March 14th 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich Chapel. Interment to follow to Little Rock TWP Cemetery Plano.
