William L Lemke Jr.

William (Bill) Lemke Jr. , 57 of Sandwich passed away April 5, 2007 at OSF Anthony Medical Center. William was born March 25, 1950 in Sandwich. Son of William Lemke Sr. and Rose Anderson. He married Karen Weber in Sandwich on May 20, 1972. He was an Army Veteran and belonged to Sandwich Moose Lodge 1016 and American Legion Post 395 Plano. He was employed by O'neill Glass and Mirror of Sandwich. Survivors include, his wife: Karen, Two Sons: Jeff (Andrea Hill) Lemke of Plano, IL. and Chris (Kristy Girard) Lemke of Marseilles, IL., his parents: William Lemke Sr. and Rose Lemke of Sandwich, Two Brothers: Gary (Vickie) Lemke of Sandwich and Joe (Bonnie) Lemke of Sandwich, One Sister Donna (Al) Colle of Yorkville, IL., Four Grandchildren: Bailey, Titus, Luka and Lainey. Many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews and was a brother in law to many. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday April 10 at Our Savior Lutheran Church of Sandwich with Rev. David Kaul officiating. Internment will be at Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk. A Visitation will be held Monday April 9 from 3:00 - 8:00pm at Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry Street Sandwich IL. 815-786-6715.
