Ward David Hall

Ward David Hall 76 of Leland, IL. passed away at his home on July 15, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born on December 6, 1940 in Ottawa, IL to Dean and Ruth (Wiley) Hall. He was a Carpenter in Local 1889. He farmed most of his life in Leland, IL. He is a former member of the Harding Methodist Church, loved gardening and riding horses, and was a member of Illinois Valley Horse Association. He enjoyed his family, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carol (Toftoy) Hall, his son Wade Hall, daughter Kristine (Kevin) Sawyer, six grandsons; Weston, Wyatt, Cody, Colton Hall, Wiley and Aidan Sawyer, five sisters; Mary Olson, Martha Marincic, Helen Niles, Dorothy Thomas, and Margaret Hall, his Brother Douglas Hall, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Ruth (Wiley) Hall, and a brother Wiley Hall. A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
