Harold Oliver Brand Sr.

Harold Oliver Brand Sr. 89 of Bristol, IL. passed away at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 18, 1928 to Robert and Leora (St.Clair) Brand in Waterman, IL. Harold graduated from Sandwich High School in 1946. He had married Lorraine and had 3 children together Patricia, Robert and Lori, she passed away in 1963, he then married Ann Linfner 1964 had 2 children Leora and Harold Jr. they divorced. He married Shirley Blackwell December 31, 1970 together they became a large blended family. He was an executive with Caterpillar Tractor Co and retired from there. He loved fishing, playing Texas Holdem, traveling in his RV with his wife Shirley, and going to grandkids and great grandkids sports games. He is survived by his children; Patricia (John) Porter of Clearwater FL.,Leora (Jeff) Williams of Sterling, IL., Harold (Kurt Granrath) Brand of Malta, IL., Sandy (Ray) Bunch of Sandwich, IL., Amanda Singleton of Sandwich, IL., and Linda Gengler of Panruha NV., Marvin Blackwell and Brenda Moorehead of Somonauk. 24 grandchildren, 49 ½ great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and his 2nd wife Anna Linfner (the mother of Leora and Harold). He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife Lorraine who passed away in 1964, and his 3rd wife Shirley who passed away in 2014, his children; Robert Brand, Lori Dreps, and Randy Shelton, and his grandchildren; Christopher, Alisha, Brandon, Neil and Lindsey. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home. Pastor Joe McDonald will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on the same day from 11:00- 1:00 p.m.
