Arnold Frank Nitz Sr.

Arnold Frank Nitz 94 of Oswego, formerly of Somonauk passed away at the Symphony at the Tillers on March 18, 2017.He was born on October 8, 1922 in Chicago, IL. to Frank and Emily (Wendling) Nitz. He married Frances Terantino on September 21, 1943 and was happily married 72 years until her passing in March of 2016. He proudly served his country during WWII serving in the Navy. He was a longtime residence of Somonauk and Chicago, IL. He is survived by his children; Bernard (Nancy) Nitz of Franklin Park, IL, Janet (Joe) Filipovits of Sandwich, IL. and Arnold “Skip” (Kathy) Nitz of Boyd WI., 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Beverage Family Funeral Home on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 12:00 -1:30. Memorial Service will be the same day at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Louis Tosto officiating.
