Roger Hoium

On November 30, 2016 Roger Harold Hoium, 78, of Genoa, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by his family at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was born May 9, 1938 to Adolf and Gladys Hoium of DeSoto WI. Roger loved hunting, fishing, and was an expert marksman. He enjoyed the outdoors. He retired from BNSF railroad. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Fred) Cullison of Sandwich, IL. Karen (Doug) Hoium of Sheridan IL. Kimberly Meier of Tomah, WI. 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Richard (Jean) Hoium of Janesville, WI and Robert (Darlene) of Beloit, WI. Several nieces and nephews. Lots of cousins too. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his first grade love and wife, Joyce Arnold Hoium. A memorial grave side service will be held in the spring at DeSoto Cemetery.
