Barbara Holstine

Barbara Holstine of Leander (Austin), Texas, formerly of Aurora, Ill., went to be with the Lord and late loved ones she so missed on October 30, 2016. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Clifton and Pauline (Bryant) Beck. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Holstine, on February 14, 1963. They spent 32 wonderful years together until his passing on October 22, 1995. She was a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons Michael Mason, Terry and Bobbie (Szweistis) Holstine, Anthony and Laura (Konowalski) Holstine and Jeffrey Holstine, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her brothers Ronald Beck and Larry Beck and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, hers sons Wayne Holstine and Maurice Holstine, her brother Donald Beck and recently her sister Maxine McCauley. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her fiery spirit. A special thanks to the hospice angels. Interment will be November 8, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Pratt Cemetery, Pratt Rd., Sandwich, Ill.
