Ollie Emmalene Walker

Ollie E. Walker 89 of Plano passed away at her home on October 26, 2016. She was born in McMinnville, TN on February 22, 1927 to Thomas and Minnie Lou (Grove) Curtis. She married Oliver Walker on April 22, 1949 in Rossville GA and was happily married until his passing in 2004. She worked for Federal Huber in Plano, IL. was an excellent cook, seamstress, gardener, loved blue grass music and cover bridge festivals. She is survived by her son Paul (Cher) Walker of Plano, IL., 2 grandchildren Ryan (Laura) Walker and Kyle (Shanda) Walker both of Cullman AL., and 6 great grandchildren; Shiloh, Tekoa, Jude, Seth, Josiah, and Isaac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oliver, her sisters Polly and Ethel and her 6 brothers; John Roberts, Jess, Ernest, Abe, Lloyd, and Joe. Funeral services will be on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Beverage Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bryan Bickford officiating. Burial will follow at the Pratt- Oak lawn Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
