Zona Bishop

Zona Bishop 86, of Sandwich passed away at her daughters home on September 9th 2016. She was born on November 3rd 1929 in Madison Co. N. Carolina to the late Pete and Maude ( Randall ) Franklin. She enjoyed Coloring and playing with dolls, her most joyful thing in life was spending time with her family, Mrs. Bishop is survived by her children ; Michael ( Annett ) Franklin, Jessie ( Pamela ) Bishop, Charles Bishop, Roy Roland Bishop and Crystal Hensley, 3 sisters Roxy, Sophie and Thelma. Several grand and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roland 1981, daughter Darlene 2000 and several brothers and sisters. Visitation locally will be held at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich Tuesday September 13th 2016 from 4-6 p.m. She will be flown to Marshall N. Carolina where on Saturday September 17th at the Madison Funeral Home a visitation and funeral service will be held and interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery in Marshall, NC.
