Gregory Thomas Morgan, age 53, of Steward passed away at his home on August 28, 2016. He was born on February 21, 1953 in Rochelle, IL. to Byrd Morgan and Judith Breseman. He drove truck for Lotz Trucking in Ottawa, IL. He loved farming and slot machines, he especially loved to train, raise and race horses. He is survived by his parents Byrd Morgan of Dekalb, IL. his mother Judith Breseman of Rochelle, IL., one brother Gary Morgan of Steward, IL., two sister Julie Morgan and Terri Wells both of Byron, his nieces and nephews: Amanda, Angel and Jeremy Knight, Nichole Wells, and Makaela and Hanna McLoughlin, and Great niece Emma Taylor. Funeral services will be held at Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson St Ashton, IL. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue after the Funeral service until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements were handled by Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home. www.beveragelyonsfamilyfh.com
