Rupert Hammonds

Rupert L "Dick" Hammonds (August 1, 1934- August 15, 2016) Rupert 82 of Ashton passed away Monday August 15, 2016 at KSB Hospital in Dixon IL. Rupert retired from Elmhurst Chicago Stone. In retirement he enjoyed working on old tractors, golf carts and lawn equipment. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Rich) Hammonds, his brother Bill Hammonds and parents Henrietta and Elmer Hammonds. Rupert is survived by three children: Teresa (Travis) Russom, Marty (Marie) Hammonds and David Hammonds, a sister Lois Wilson, nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. There will be no services per his request.
