William G. Littlefair

William (Bill) Littlefair was born in Marseilles Illinois on December 28, 1920. Surrounded by his loving family, Bill passed away after a brief illness on Friday June 10, 2016 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion. Born to Thomas and Bernice Littlefair he worked on the family farm until he married Marvene Eisenberg on June 8, 1941. His passions were fishing, his garden and his family. Bill retired from Federal Huber Inc. in Plano, IL. after 41 years of Service. Bill and Marvene raised 4 boys and lived in the same home 75 years. On June 8th 2016 they celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary with family and the wonderful nurses and CNAs at Willow Crest. Bill is survived by his loving wife Marvene, 4 sons; John ( Sylvia ) Littlefair of East Peoria, IL., Dennis ( Peggy ) Littlefair of Sycamore, IL., Timothy (Katherine) Littlefair of Clermont, FL., and Kevin (Denise) Littlefair of Sandwich, IL. He was blessed with ten grandchildren; Dawn, Robin, Joel, Jeff, Jamie, Jennifer, David, Christa, Carrie, and Mindy, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one daughter in law. A Memorial service will be held on Friday June 24, 2016 at the Plano Methodist Church. The family will be receiving guests from 5:00-7:00 PM followed by the Memorial Service. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
