Shirley Jean Goddard

Shirley Jean Goddard, 79 of Newark, passed away on October 7, 2015 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. She was born on September 28, 1936 to Everett and Anna ( Orr ) Larson in Sandwich Illinois. She retired from Western Electric in Montgomery Illinois. She enjoyed painting in watercolors and had won many awards for her paintings. She loved looking at the flowers and watching birds. She is survived by her husband Jimmie, her children Valerie and Dwayne Withrow, her stepdaughters Vickie Goff and Bonnie Aguilar, her brother Daniel Cosher, a grandson Gustave, her sister in law Betty (Bill) Lippman, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Betty Kennedy. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
