Opal Marie Baker

Opal Marie Baker, 84 of Louisville passed away on August 7, 2015 in Sandwich Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Baker Sr., and friend Sonny Siniger, brothers, James, David, Paul and John Horn and a sister, Ruth Minton. She is survived by her children, Danny Baker (Norma Jean) and James "Pee-Wee" Baker Jr., (Sharon). Siblings, Gladyse Palmer, Juanita Thurman and Wanda Sue Melton (Walt). She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate Opal's life will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm Tuesday August 11, 2015 and after 9am the day of the funeral. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
