Charles David Pope

Charles D. Pope 78 of Sandwich passed away at his home with his wife at his side. He was born on October 11, 1936 in Peoria, IL. To the late Charles L and Arlene ( Peace ) Pope. He served his country with the US Army, He was a member of Disabled Veteran and the Lions Club. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. He retired I.C.C. as a Public Safety Officer. He is survived by his wife Janet of Sandwich, His children; David (Denna ) Pope of Leland, Daniel Pope of Yorkville and Kelly ( David ) House of Nevada.2 Brothers; Larry ( Nancy ) Pope of TN and Richard ( Connie ) Pope of Mahomet, IL. his grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his friend Donna Eggert. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Barbara 3-26-2014 and his sister Dorothy. Memorial Service will be held August 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church Somonauk, IL.
