Geraldine Kurth

Geraldine Kurth 93, of Ashton passed away May 22, 2015 at Serenity House Hospice In Oregon. She was born on February 6, 1922 in Peru ,IL to the late Henry and Margaret ( Lascheid ) Brackman. She Married Oliver Kurth on February 18, 1956 in Peru, IL. She work as an office clerk for West Clock and later a home maker. She enjoyed being a home maker, cooking gardening and growing flowers. She was a member of Ashton United Methodist Church, were she was a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by her son Kevin Kurth of Ashton and her daughter Jill Kurth of Rockford. She leaves also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Besides being preceded by her parents she is preceded by her husband Oliver 2012, sister Uleta, brothers Koral and Gerald. Memorial service will be held Saturday May 30, 2015 at the Ashton United Methodist 906 Richardson Ave.Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sang Hun Han officiating.
