Leanne Bernhardt

Leanne Bernhardt 59 of Sandwich passed away at Rush Copley Hospital on September 15 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 25 1955 to Ronald and Evonne (Cave) Eisenberg in Sandwich, Illinois. She married Thomas Bernhardt on July 13 1974 at the Federated Church in Sandwich and was happily married for 40 years. She worked at Art’s Supermarket for 22 years. She was a Woman of the Moose. She loved bowling, golfing and fishing. She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bulls and Bears fan. She is survived by her husband Thomas, her father Ronnie; 2 brothers; Steve (Roberta) Eisenberg of Somonauk, and Mark (Brenda) Eisenberg of Spring Grove Illinois; several nieces and nephews, Jordan, Josh, Jeremy, and Brian. She was preceded in death by her mother Yvonne in October 2001 and her brother Scotty in June of 2011. A casual Celebration of Life for Leanne will be held on September 27, 2014 at the Idle Hour Bowling Alley in Sandwich from 4:00p.m.-7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
