William ( Butch ) Alfred Olsen

William ”Butch” Alfred Olsen 73, of Sandwich passed away April 18, 2014 at Season’s Hospice in Naperville. He was born December 9 1940 in Aurora Illinois to Walter and Blanche (Miller) Olsen. He married Margaret Schwartz on November 24 1984 in Yorkville and spent the next 29 years happily married. He farmed in Yorkville and Elburn. He was partial owner of Furniture and fixtures in Sandwich, maintenance manager for Countryside Estates for several years, and school crossing guard for Sandwich. He also loved to garden. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his children Ron and Jeff Olsen both of Tennessee, Ernest (Rodita) Conroy of Plainfield, Steven (Kristy) Conroy of Ft. Pierce Alabama, and Paul (Liz) Conroy of Illinois, a sister June Clark, 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 son’s Tim and ken, sister Joan Flyte and grandson Scott. Memorial service will be held Saturday April 26 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the beverage Family Funeral home Sandwich, IL.Visitation held 1 hour prior to the service. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
