Ronald John Cap 53, of Plano passed away April 28th at his home with his family by his side. He was born February 5th 1960 to Leo and Helen Cap in Chicago Illinois. He was a retired Boilermaker, Local 374 in Hammond Indiana for 20 years, and a retired Crossing Guard at Emily Johns School. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He ran for Mayor of Plano in the 2009 election, Chairman of the Plano Neighborhood Watch. He was also a committee member of the Lakewood Springs Homeowners Association, and a lifelong White Sox Fan. He was an avid fisherman, handyman, woodworker, friend and storyteller to children and adults. He would help anyone with anything at anytime. He is survived by his wife, Diane L. Mackay , his children, Maggie(Paul) Neswick, Jon Cap and Lauren Cap. His stepdaughters; Kristen Ellis and Jaclyn (Mario) Dati. His sister Darlene(Dean) Mlynarczyk, his brother Leo(Sue)Cap Jr. His grandchildren; Jerad Baysinger and Lelah Baysinger, his nieces and nephews; Eric (Natalie) Mlynarczyk, Tim Mlynarczyk, Alaina Cap, Olivia Cap, Bre Cap, Steven Cap and first great nephew Nolan Mlynarczyk. Memorial services will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church Sandwich, IL. on May 11th 2013 at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend David Kaul officiating.Visitation will be held 1 hour proir to the service.
