James (Mike) Michael Doyle

James (Mike) Michael Doyle , 69 of Hinckley IL passed away November 4, 2018. Mike was born July 5, 1949 in Chicago, IL to the late, James E. Doyle and Louise M. (Ault) Doyle.

Mike is survived by his wife Patricia Doyle, daughter Romney (Rod) Kirby of Montgomery IL and 5 grandchildren Skylar Ingle, Mitchell Ingle, Klohe Kirby, Harrison Kirby and Gavin Ingle.  In addition he had one great-grandchild Ayden Ingle and another one on the way.  A son, Alex Ingle preceeded Mike in death.

Mike came from a family of six children and is survived by a brother, Mark Doyle of North Riverside, IL, sister, Leslie Doyle Rosen (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, sister, Alison Doyle Sweeney (Don) of Wynnum, Australia, brother, Joseph Doyle (Kristin) of Joliet IL, and a sister, Brooke Doyle Stokes (Bryan) of Quincy, IL.  

Mike was an amazing uncle to many  nieces and nephews that he adored.  

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war and was stationed in Alaska. He loved spending time in Alaska fishing and camping.  He brought back his beloved half dog/ half wolf, Sitka, to live with him in Chicago. Mike was a dedicated employee of Caterpillar Tractor Manufacturing and retired several years ago.   He enjoyed flea markets, refinishing antiques, barbecuing, scratch off tickets, his dog Frankie and spending time with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed for his big heart, contagious laugh and loving nature.
